post being deleted

so i posted about 46 christina Aguilera WP's twice. Once in the WP thread in the general forum then after that was deleted i started a thread in the celeb forum and it was deleted in about 5 minutes. wtf is up? am i doing something wrong?

 

read the forum rules. no collections allowed.

there are always new contributors and that is something great about the phun forums but, like yourself everyone comes in and posts without reading up on the forum rules (which only takes a minute) and then complains about missing posts.

 

to add i was using imagebam which is an accepted host

 

they were all wallpapers, which is why i posted in the wallpaper thread, and what would a gallery of WP's be if not a collection? just tryin to share some HQ very very hot christina WP's. i understand the no collection rule but i was also trying to keep people from having to SEARCH everypost here and the internet to find the 46 WP's i have. I dont have a problem with deleting post but out of courtesy i think it would be a good idea to maybe have some PM response system that explains the delete.

 

each moderator here deletes about 60-70 posts per day, you want us to write individual responses to every post we delete? :-?

 

thats why i said "PM response SYSTEM."being a php style forum im sure there is a way to add that in. it doesnt have to be pecific, i.e my case would be something like "READ THE RULES!". just an idea. i would still like to know why it was deleted from the WP thread.

 

You didn't use an approved imagehost for your post in the WP thread which is one reason it could have been trashed. Your thread in the celeb forum was a collection which is not allowed. Both those reasons can be found in the rules, no PM needed.

 

so imagebam is allowed in the celeb forum but not in the general forum?

 

you could probably post it in the bits and pieces section, ive seena few wallpaper threads there, including my own wallpaper thread that got mover there

 

You didn't use imagebam in the general forum you used hostwhore.com.

Your user title changes automatically as your post count increases. You can change it yourself once you hit 1,500 posts.

the mods in this board have to put up with a lot of shit. its takes several mods just to keep it going what with the amount of traffic and junk/spam that gets posted so, as you can imagine patience starts to wear thin for guys who arent willing to play by the simple rules or even read them. so people can be banned and permabanned pretty quickly.

 

so im not spamming, im trying to contribute. made a mistake and asked about said mistake. fixed said mistake and you are wondering why im still here? i have been a member here for 2 years and just recently thought it would be a good idea to give back to this great forum and i made a post in the right thread with the wrong host then made a thread in the wrong forum with the right host and simply asked what i was doing wrong. Then i get flamed by you guys for asking how to fix what ive done wrong. i would hope the mods wouldnt be quick to ban someone who is trying to add to the forum. but i guess there will always be people on here and every forum who think they better than the average member. thank you to all who did answer my questions.
