you guys have serious issues. i have none of that stuff. Thank goodness i have always been risk adverse.

 

Holy fuck dude. I don't even know what to say to that. Never had that kind of decision to make.

 

funny thing is social security says I don't qualify under their standards as being disabled. Thats funny being that I can't stand or sit for longer than 5-10 mins at a time. I shouldn't lift over 12 lbs. Hell, I can't even hold my 8 month old daughter for more than 5 mins or my whole entire left leg goes completely numb and I get excrutiating pain throughout my whole lower back.

 

Physical, AND mental right azz? LOL

 

i think you should get the surgery because a lifetime of such pain is not worth it bud. Just my opinion.

 

You said prior injury....but how the hell did you do it man?

That's a rough one. God forbid things went bad with the procedure, that would tax the hell out of everything, including the relationship with wifey. Her responsibilities would be a hell of a lot more than moving you around if it didn't turn out well.

 

haha that my friend I think is the worst part of the situation....I was in bed asleep and I kinda half woke up and wanted to go from my back to my side. For whatever reason it seemed like to much work at the time to roll. So I figured I'd just kinda kick my legs against the bed and kinda fling my body up off the bed and then turn and hit the bed on my side and be right back asleep. As soon as I kicked and left the bed i felt something really friggin weird, kinda took the breath outta me. I said fuck it and went back to sleep. Next morning I woke up and went to get out of bed and I dropped to the floor with this pain I can only describe as my back being literally on fire. Couldn't walk for 6 straight weeks. Eventually it got a lil better and then a lil more until I reached the point that it is now and stopped getting any better. whew that was a mouthful

 

Ya know....I always used to laugh when I heard stories about people throwing their back out bending over to pick up a (for purposes of the statement) pet toy, or some stupid shit like that. Now that I'm a little older (no comments bastards ), and my own back is fucked up, I can appreciate just how fragile the spine/nervous system really is.

Sure as hell feels that way sometimes. I miss the good ol' whorey days of sniffin' around a different hen every weekend.

 

I definitely gained a very quick appreciation as well. The injury has really changed my life A LOT in the last 2 1/2 years. Living like this sux, living as a cripple....... I am one of those people who analyzes every decision to hell. Cups half-empty deal I guess

My chick deals with a lot and is a very incredible woman....I wouldn't trade that for all the fun in the world. I do miss em tho. Feel I was kinda side-lined early.
