These days i only casually watch it.
If it's on, i'll flick it on, but not take too much interest.

Back in the early 2000's i wouldn't miss a show.

We actually just got to see our first episode of TNA Impact last night, and i was disappointed.
There were some quality workers on the show, but they spent so much time on storylines, and promos.
And the promos seemed really wacky and cartoon-ey, much like WWE was in the mid 1990's.

Afternoon/evening gents! How is everybody today?

Why dosen't it surprise me that you are an (avid from the sound of it) watcher of wrestling? :p lol

Nope......Haven't even bought one yet. I was just running that shit past bama yesterday. I figure he's probably the guy to talk to for that type of info.

Randy Savage is a sad dude these days.

At his peak he was an excellent worker, but even then his paranoia was over the top.

    Same.

Growing up i was obsessed by him and the WWF.

    Russo fucking Hogan over?
I remember Hogan playing his "creative control card", and Russo coming out and shooting on him, bigtime.
That was my all-time favourite moment in wrestling.

I adore Hulk Hogan for his ability to get the crowd involved, but it was great to see his backstage politics, favouritism and refusal to lose matches shown up.

Nah, Bret left for WCW in 1997.

    Ah, The Mega Powers

They were a great team, with all the tension around who Miss Elizabeth (RIP) was with.

The funny thing was that all that tension was legit because Savage was such an incredibly insecure, jealous and paranoid man.

disappointed to hear you say that. I mean given the fact that Hogan basically carried pro wrestling on his back for well over a decade. See I'm not one to down a man for wanting recognition and perks for the work that he has put in.

There's a difference between wanting recognition and refusing to put over young talent, refusing to lose the strap and constantly using your creative control card to push your friends (see Ed Leslie).

Hogan is a legend, but no one is bigger than the business.
    He thought he was.
