Going fridge shopping this morning, so i can already feel the bank account screaming in pain.

Might also catch a film this afternoon, although it's school holidays here so every fucking session is filled with teenage girls who think it's cool to text on their mobile phone throughout the entire film, and also laugh hysterically at the most inane things.

Fucking annoying little cows, they are.

 

Ouch. It is somewhat amazing how much better designed they are than 10 years ago as far as maximizing usable space, but the $$$ still sucks.

American fridges seem to be so much bigger than ours.

We're going to buy a silver side-by-side one (i love those things), and even with a good special we're looking at $1800-2500 (about $1600-2300US).

I thibk they're a chance overall but I hope they don't go all the way. I think the Hawks and Saints are better Victorian chances. I hope to hell we win, 0-2 would be a bad start given we have top 8 expectations and a game against Sydney who we haven't beaten for a long time coming up, then away to Port. Need to be 2-2 from that, at least.

 

I don't rate St. Kilda.

They've constantly been talked up for years, but they have never delivered, and suddenly because they've got a 29yo broken down ruckman from Geelong (who no one else wanted, Geelong included, hence why he went for pick 90) they're considered a premiership threat.

Their backline is weak, their gameplan is horrible, and they're stacked with injury-prone players (King, Gardiner, Hudghton, Maguire, Kosi etc.)

In my mind they really need to do a lot more before they're a legitimate contender for the premiership and i can't wait to give them a reality check in round 4.

 

They played well in the 2nd half of last year, if they made the 8 they could have done some damage. Horrible start cost them. Lyon's in his 2nd year, they will be better. I think you'll do them in a couple of weeks but they are one team that should come into the eight that missed last year, everyone says Freo are a definite but I don't know at this stage.
