Our first year is called 'Prep', then grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
All of those are at 'primary school'.

Then for year 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 we're at high school.

Years 11 and 12 are the really serious ones, where we have exams and all that stuff to qualify for university.

Ah yes. I spend 10 schooling years studying and putting solid effort in. Then in Year 11 I start to spend my time perving and by mid-way thru the year, I've discovered alcohol and less than a year later, I get a letter on behalf of all the universities here saying I wouldn't be welcome in any of their campuses.

At the time it hurt, I deserved failure and got it, but fast forward 8 years and it's the best thing that happened to me. I hate studying, and am much happier working.

I coasted through my VCE, doing absolutely no work, but then i realised i needed an ENTER score of 98ish to get into my course, so i studied pretty much 24/7 for the last two weeks before the exams.

Was a brutal time, but my own fault for being slack.

No mate, i've not seen the teams yet, been out having delicious gyros for dinner.

Will go have a look now.

Looking through the teams, a few things stand out.

* Why is Cheynee Stiller out? Last year he was very, very good across half back.

* Will be good to see Lachie Henderson (a good Geelong boy) play his first game.

* I so want to see Jamie Charman bitchslap Josh Fraser and Cam Wood.
If Charman is on his game, he should physically smash both of them.

* Can't believe Moloney got dropped from the Melbourne team.
I have a soft spot for him since he's a Geelong boy and he got us Ottens, but i thought he was good last week (so much so i almost traded for him in DT).

* Interesting to see the E-girls dropped Rosa. Fair fall from grace given his form last year.

* I hate them, but i might watch the E-girls to see how the first gamers in Ebert and Masten go.

* Charlie Gardiner already got dropped

He barely played 50 games in 7 years at Geelong, and so many expected him to suddenly become a star at St.Kilda.
He's a good guy, but he lacks the skills to make it.

* Good to finally see Freo play some youth.
Palmer will be good to watch, whilst i know nothing about this 'Mayne' guy.

* Going to be great to see Harry Taylor make his debut for Geelong.
He's a wonderful kid who works his arse off, so it's good to see him debut.
He's a WA boy like you, Kieks, and he got drafted mature aged out of the WAFL.
