    I'm talking about the top flight, professional competition.

    Our own footy (that i play) starts this weekend, but i won't be playing for a while yet. :(

    Particular course I play mostly is pretty short, lots of water and lots of trees come in to play. I'm a decent iron player so I play a lot of 3 or 4 irons off the tee and still have only 7 - 9 to the green. Even though it's pretty short many of the fairways are only 25 - 30 yards wide at the most. If you can get off the tee you can score. I just putted very well Friday.

    Interesting.

    Most courses that i can afford to play have a heap of trees but very little in the way of quality bunkers and no water at all.
    I'm much better with my woods.
    I still can't get much height on my balls, even with a 9-iron, but i can hit the bastard a lot way and usually pretty accurately.
