    Morning all.

You can all now officially talk about football again, all thanks to this little babyfaced assassin.

Fancy being a lifelong Hammers fan, get subbed on in your first game at the age of 18, at Upton Park, and put the winner past Friedel within 6 minutes of getting on the park.

I'm not too bad abe, the heat has been getting to me, but i'm battling through.

We're off couch/sofa shopping this morning, hoping to get it all done before the heat really arrives (it's 26 already, before 9am).

    What film are you watching?

Man, that heat would kill me.
Our weather was pretty nice today - around 9 degrees, with the sun shining. I know that sounds very cold, but it was actually pretty good.

    Watching Anger Management.

I didn't mind Anger Management, mainly because i'm a massive Jack Nicholson mark and could watch him in anything.

And no, 9 degrees doesn't sound cold at all, it sounds perfect.

it's the first time I watch it, seems pretty good.
Watching it for Adam mainly, not a big Jack fan.

I don't mind Sandler, despite him playing the same character in every film (much like Jack now, actually).

Although after seeing 'Chuck and Larry', it's going to take a lot for me to hand over coin to see Sandler again.

Haven't watched Chuck and Larry yet.

Btw is it smart to buy a new couch now if you're gonna move soon?

Actually I think Jack was a little stale in the late 80s/90s but with things like the Pledge, About Schmidt, and Something's Gotta Give he's getting a little more varied (though Anger Management was typical "I'm really cool" Jack, and the Departed wasn't too far off).

Yes, especially if it's a pull-out sleeper and your current apartment's on the 3rd floor and the new one's on the 5th with no elevators.

    Don't bother, seriously.

If you have to watch a film about two straight guys playing gay to get insurance, watch the Aussie film from which they stole the idea from, 'Strange Bedfellows'.

It was no masterpiece, but it was original and far, far better than 'Chuck and Larry', which is the worst film i've seen (i think).

We're buying it for the new place.

You don't really just buy off the floor (at least with quality stores), so it takes a few weeks for it to be made with the material and colour you want.
The idea is that we order it soon, and get it delivered to the new place when we move.

We actually do live in an apartment.

Absolutely brutal moving things in and out, so i'm glad we're moving to a proper house.

Haha, we only have one Ikea in all of Victoria and it's a pretty ordinary place (never ever eat food at our Ikea, it's disgusting).

I just want a good quality couch (i thought we were the only ones to call it that), and if it costs, then so be it.

Couch, bed and fridge. Those are three things i won't ever scrimp on, they have to be top of the line.

Well, we're expecting to pay between $3,000 and $4,000 AU.

So in your money, that's 13,482-17,976 krones.

It's a lot, but you spend a lot of time on them and i want mine to last a while.
