Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Wish I could say the same. We take call every 7 weeks for a week. I get calls every damn week - last weekend 2 while at my son's birthday party on Sunday (which really pissed me off) and one Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. - happens nearly every week.

    My dad was a trauma surgeon so he was on call constantly, including many Christmas/Thanksgiving/whatevers. Made me really not want to carry a pager/cell phone for work ever.

    Yeah it was tough, but you sort of get used to it. He switched to management stuff later on, and finally retired a couple years ago.

    cool, good for him. We have a doctor here that's over the internship program, I don't think that sob will ever retire - he's close to 90 but you'd never know it - he gets around as well as anyone.
