    shitty weather is always a dampener on things.

    You know reloading is like cooking a great meal. fucker takes hours to prepare but only minutes to enjoy. If only i can reload as fast as i can shoot... :(

    i handload all my rounds. i am not sure if any of you are familiar with the reloading process but it takes days to do. It is not as simple as just weighing out the powder charge and seating in a bullet. It's the prep work that is very time consuming.

    I would just buy the ammunition but 3 good reasons as to why i don't.
    1) i hate throwing away the most expensive component of a bullet and that is the casing. (i am asian what can i say) :p
    2) reloading costs only a fraction of what it would cost to buy the ammunition from a store. ( $.27 to reload a bullet vs. $.90 for store bought)
    3) When i reload i put in the maximum amount of gunpowder you can safely put in to maximize the speed of the bullet. Due to liability reasons manufactured bullets are always about 2-3% slower than what i can reload them at.

    i have some friends that reload. their dad actually. looks complicated and time consuming as hell. i don't have that kind of patience. more power to you azz.

    The guy I used to hunt with all the time had one, we did some shotgun reloads but that was it. We just did those for dove and quail hunts. Everything else I bought from Wal Mart - just lazy I guess.
