Yeah man the season's seem so back to front right now, summer has passed and it seems like it never arrived!

 

At least Brissie isn't too bad, I think our high's have been around 27-29, not too bad weather to work in. Apart from the crazy weekend where it was pushing 40 it's been good.

I just heard about Sam Newman, and i'm in shock.

Poor bastard has prostate cancer and they're not sure if it's spread throughout his body.

For all the crap his tv persona gets, he was an absolute champion footballer for my beloved club, and he has been a wonderful benefactor for us (whilst specifically asking that it not be made public).

I hope he gets a good diagnosis.

 

Hey Luv, I'm good and yourself? Came home from work, threw south park on the tellie then went to sleep until dinner time, can't complain hah.

I think it's roughly average for this time of the year, the only difference is we've had pretty large winds which have made it feel chillier then it really is.

Nah we've missed out on the weather far north has had. That said, we have still had more rain then normal in the last month which has been great, just not enough to flood us yet. It's meant to have been raining all week, so far it's been sunny and clear all week, only not has it started to get a bit overcast. The more water the better, we need more then 40% dam levels to survive.

 

Ahh ok well i hope you get some then just not too much our dams are full here (and probly over flowing) but we still have water restrictions

 

Better to have restrictions with plenty of water, then restrictions with no water. I think we dropped to ~18% at one point, and the suits still only had their fingers crossed that we'd get some rain.

Fingers crossed the cancer didn't get a chance to spread through Sam's body, apparently it was removed this morning, but they don't know how far it had spread.
