  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    not a bad idea, but i also agree with azz. if you know the rules, it should be usually obvious why they are in there. if it looks like nothing is wrong at all, then it's probably a repost.

    question on the "old" reports....

    is it because the content is a repost that has been seen many times or because of someone commenting on a thread that has dropped well past page 1?

    the "funny" thing: why are threads which are against the rules (reposts, wrong imagehosts etc.) being moved to the "bits and pieces" instead of being trashed?

    call be "biased" in this case, but a few months (or years?) back this "bits and pieces" was an idea to seperate things in the sections.
    there has never been a rule of "minimum ammount of pics" in the model-forum, for example. but there have been a few members posting only 5-7 pics of a set.
    since there was actually no justification to trash such threads i thought it would have been nice to have a place where such peeople play but not littering the model-forum....

    it's based on a two-week dead period. for instance, if the last post in a thread is february 4 and somebody posts in there today, it's considered old. again, it's based on the last post in the thread, not the original post.
