Hey I've been awake for...7 hours. Woke up at 23 last night, was on the pc for 3 hours, turned it off and watched tv til 11...then I fell asleep.

Ah, the old leagues.

Now we have a proper Australian soccer league, with teams that are based purely on the city they are in, rather than being based on their supporters ethnicity.

Soccer had turned away families and Aussies of English heritage because of all the ethnic tension.

Now we have a proper A-League, with no ethnic tension and no clubs that you need to be a Greek-Australian or Croatian-Australian to support.

Anyway, my lot, the Melbourne Victory, smashed Adelaide's team 6-0 in last years Grand Final.

No doubt mate, no doubt.

We're deliberately choosing not to have children until we're financially secure (hopefully) and more importantly, in the right mental state to give them the a quality upbringing.

Neither of us are ready yet, because we still need to find our feet as people and live a little more, and perhaps even become a little less selfish.

My parents had a loveless marriage and divorced when i was 4, and whilst my mother was totally devoted to her children, it was a tough childhood.

I'm determined to make sure i can give my children a more stable and positive environment to grow up in.
