    Thanks mate.

I get up at 7am on weekdays, but it's a bit different when you're jolted from your sleep at 5.30am with a stinging pain through your leg.

    Haha

    If only.

    These things are brutal.
I've had broken bones and other assorted injuries through playing football, and none hurt as much as the initial minute or so of a calf cramp that happens when you're sleeping.

    Absolute cuntish pain, it is.

    Fuck oath.

I think i might take the day off and take the missus (she has Friday's off) to see one of the new rom-com's at the cinema (probably Dan In Real Life).

Going to be far too tired (and sore) to be sitting at work for 9 hours, before then trying to negotiate my way home in peak hour.
Friday's are bad enough at the best of times, so a sickie is definitely on the cards.

yeah, I've had them before as well. In high school during summer we had 3-a-day practices, if you don't take in enough fluids you'll get for sure by the end of the day.

I'd give my left nut to be able to stay home all the time.
If i did though, home would be a park bench.

I drink a stack of water, which is why these things are a mystery to me.

I've been to doctors about them (i get one on average every 6 weeks), and they have no clue, only tell me to stretch and take certain vitamins.

Those that haven't had them think they're no big deal, but i seriously think i'll have a heart attack during a calf cramp because it can't be good for the heart to awaken from a deep sleep with such extreme muscle pain.
The heart would go from just beating softly, to absolutely pounding in the blink of an eye.

When I played a lot of football - I used to cramp like that often - Doctor told me it was lack of salt - I hated salt and never ate it on or with anything. Once I did - Cramps were gone :D

My missus earns a good wage, a very good one, but with the price of housing here, you simply couldn't do it all on one good wage.

My dear Mother is always crapping on about having salt when you cramp, but i have salt on most hot foods :p and it doesn't seem to make a lick of difference.

I've never had a calf cramp during the day, the bastards always sneak up on me when i'm asleep.

Man, this place is friggin awsome for a family vacation. We stay in a 3 bedroom house sitting on the golf course with a swimming pool 1/2 block away. The beach is across the road but they have trams that take you anywhere on property you want to go. There's a shit load of resteraunts, 2 golf courses, beach, fishing lakes, bicycle tracks...all kinds of stuff to do. We all look forward to it every year.
