    I just got her a card and some candy today. I gave her my check card Saturday and let her get whatever she wanted...I think she got some makeup, not sure. We're past the "special gifts", we pick out stuff we want and tell the other what to get.

    Damn, 5 weeks :confused: I do good to get 1 week at time off much less 5. I only get 4 weeks a year.

    They let me take 1 week of sick time when all my kids were born. And it's standard for 6 weeks maternity leave here, that's the wife did - that comes out of sick leave as well.

    The wifes got 9 months maternity and if I was working I would get 2 weeks paternity leave which I could take at any time before the babys 1st Birthday.

    We are looking at a holiday visiting family in Australia :D
