    I will check that doc out, whether or not one is a fan of the music it can't be denied she marches to the beat of her own drum which is something to respect.

    Saw that news out of France, it would happen here but then all our past and present Presidents and political leaders would have to be jailed:lol: between this and how they do protests over there(where you actually see police and firefighters storm in WITH the protestors and in full gear), seems we should be taking a lot of inspiration from them IMHO instead of the regular stereotype of the French as cowards which we have over here:nooo:

    I need to get some new sweats, this reminded me of that. Am I getting old because I find myself not liking to wear regular pants that much now? :rofl:

    Elizabeth Taylor started out in film when she was only 10 years old, and was almost immediately established as a Star with the Lassie films and National Velvet when she was only 12! I remember seeing her as Rebecca (a small part) on TV in the film 'Ivanhoe', that was published when she was 20, and being totally gob-smacked by how simply amazingly beautiful she was. It's worth seeking out if you haven't seen it? There's a scene in which her face appears to the injured Ivanhoe, and if your heart doesn't just break instantly I'll be very surprised?

    Her main problems were her voice, in spite of the training that I suspect she must have undergone (?), coupled with her lack of basic acting ability, which she didn't need in her early child roles, and which the public forgave the absence of later in her adult roles because she was simply eye candy. Those familiar with staff management and Personnel Appraisal principles will recognise that as the "Halo" syndrome? Ultimately, of course, as she aged she matured into a half decent actor and the rest is history.

    I would love to be around to see Emma's evolution! She doesn't possess the simply jaw-dropping beauty of Taylor, but she's within striking distance? She has a voice that's not cringe-worthy! She can already act - it's the life that she's lived, for heaven's sake!
    I can only hope that she fulfils the destiny that she's capable of, and which the money men would just love to invest in?

    Not quite back into the sweats. Would wear them a lot 30 years ago, not so much now. When not at work, regardless of weather, I'm in basketball shorts most of the time.

    I don't like sweats. I lived in Florida 20 years and wore shorts 364 days a year. Now I'm in Tennessee and I can only wear shorts 300 days a year. If it's too cold to wear shorts outside I stay inside.

    Its gone beyond Sweats/Joggers here, its more like can you remember the last time you wore jeans?
    The frustrating thing in the short term she doesn't need "Money men"
    to fund any Independent film she wanted to fund, produce or direct.

    She certainly has the influence to assemble people to form a company to produce a film.

    Instead she's been career coasting with roles in some really average projects.

    She has the opportunities that people would die for!

    Every day, or near enough that it doesn't matter. I have sweats/joggers, but for some reason I don't feel comfortable in them. And that's not even the most fucked up thing about me.

    I have lived in north central Florida for over 71 years. I wear athletic shorts most of the year when I am at home and long sweat pants the rest of the time. I wear the long sweat pants when I go out in public because no one should have to view my hideously badly scared legs.

    Good news.... but I saw a recent poll which showed 40% of people in this country are choosing NOT to get the vaccine. Now, it's just 1 poll and polls can be very off sometimes but that doesn't portend to this nightmare ending here in the U.S. anytime soon. That, and a few states having just lifted all restrictions:
