    Thank you!!! Somehow I think she had a "Different" sort of birthday.
    I think it's unfair but in some cases accurate, take Keira Knightley similar ages, both in big franchises.

    The different is apart from the "Ballet drama", I can't think Emma did anything else while Potter was in production.
    Ok maybe her contract stopped her appearance in any other Wizard driven drama's, but everything else?
    Keira did so many productions from Television in "The Bill", to so many non typecast film roles,
    she then went to the stage (saw her she was brilliant), then to investing her money into films and working behind the camera.

    Emma did none of that, she went from Potter to some really bad choices in films.

    This is true, Sonic. The early Christian church high-jacked the Pagan solstice festivals and re-purposed them in ways that had absolutely nothing to do with the original Christian chronology, but had everything to do with the traditional Pagan symbolism of each, and how it could be made to fit key elements of the Christian story. It was clearly important that the old Pagan ways had to be denied the opportunity to distract from the new order, and the easiest way was to slot into the same calendar, and gradually take over?

    The mid-winter solstice, a Pagan Bacchanalian celebration of the New Year starting, when agrarian communities had little else to do, matched fairly neatly with the need to celebrate the birth of the Christian Son of God! And the Vernal equinox, the Pagan time traditionally to celebrate the seasonal re-awakening and re-emergence of life, was a slam-dunk to symbolise the Christian resurrection story!

    Let's face it, many of the original uneducated victims of the imposed transition might not have noticed much difference, especially if it was done bit by bit, and the celebrations remained Bacchanalian enough - initially? ;)

    I have zero desire to argue this topic. I was only stating that his view that Easter is a celebration of death is incorrect. I didn't say whether he should believe it or not. Nor anyone else.
    I give no shits if anyone is atheist, Jewish, agnostic or Christian. The end.
