I've been busy


Meanwhile

Maisie was apparently out briefly today.

 

I think structure is important to our days, it's not a extended holiday and this could last for months.

I'm scared shitless, it's affecting my sleep, I'm doing my best but it is having a affect on me. I'm living on £93 a week (the Government's 80% of your wages still hasn't happened) a few miles away from me they've converted the Excel centre where I saw concerts into a giant hospital and morgue.

I'm worrying for my family and what the next few weeks holds for all of us.

 

You're fine, these are not "Normal times", you weren't to know thank you!

Meanwhile

If anyone thinks this is like "Seasonable Flu".
I hope you'll continue to believe that by June and you don't have your mind changed for you.

While waiting for the NHS Volunteers to formally begin, we've been helping out as
volunteers with the local council, on the phones, dealing with the supply chain requests.
Packing food (I'm seeing veg in my sleep) and talking to the Vulnerable on the phone.

In other words, I've been busy, I'm working early's to early afternoon and for two nights
running, I've slept well!

I've also been helping to organise the Worldwide "Lockdown Doctor Who" showing tonight of
"Vincent and the Doctor" (its Van Gogh's birthday".

It's on tonight at 7pm UK BST time/1pm East Coast US/11am West Coast USA.

I don't know if it will help, but if you're in isolation, i've found this helps.

Structure your days, give your days some routine.
This is not the Christmas holidays, its not a holiday.

It's a new extended reality (bit like your own "Truman Show" if you have nothing but days full of open spaces
stuck in the house, your days will feel longer, time will drag.

Try to signpost your days.

Plus get up at a regular time!

 

Am I jealous of CJ, you can bet your balls I am! His Salon is closed, so Kristen & Emma came to his.

 

I've seen the episode a few times, I just missed out on the community

The only who i care about is the who, and even then i cant say im a huge fan. Anyway even if this discussion doesnt do much for me i enjoy reading it as it takes my mind of the reality outside.
