There are still traces of radiation at certain places in north sweden.

 

We had downfall of Caesium/Cesium. It wasnt devastating amounts but it affected the animal populace for some time.

 

That's the scary thing, people may have (ironically) forgotten it until the new drama came along, but there you are the after effects thousands of miles away decades on carried by the wind.

My Aunt was telling me that my Dad was reading the news back then & they had to get correct pronunciation, not Cher-noble, but Cher-knob-ildal.

I'm going to have to schedule some time to see it.

Even though I was just an infant at the time, it's something I know a lot of as a bit of a history buff. It's something that I thought of when the Fukushima disaster hit, and why I haven't had any seafood from the Pacific since, no matter what officials may say about the safety of it.

im gonna be entirely honest i thought it was a guy in that picture when i first glanced at it.

 

Despite that many hunters ate both deer, roe deer and elk from the affected areas we had fairly few radioactive related deaths. I dont have the exact number in my head but i Think its in the region of 50-100 that can be traced to cesium related deaths. In most cases the radioactive agent has acted as a catalyst. People have developed nasty cancers that havent been able to be treated, So the documentation may say pancreatic cancer, prostate, lung and breast the list goes on but the culprit is Cesium.

I have seen way to little of her to put any judgement on her, maybe she wants to go away from the Danerys shadow. Do something utterly different. Or you know she is a lousy actress and this in line with her skill.

She's hardly set the World alight, especially since Dark Phoenix hasn't done the Box Office they'd hoped for.

 

Tonight on the BIG screen (with added pints) Eng Vs Japan, but damn you FIFA you've scheduled it at the same time as Scotland Vs Argentina

 

All final matches in a group are at the same time to prevent various shenanigans which plagued the World Cup back in the day. Just watch Scotland on your phone, unless you're too

 

The thing is (If its trouble you're talking about as in England/Scotland, there's rivalry yes trouble no, we met some of the Scottish team and they're lovely) it spoils it as I'd love the see the game live and I can't insult it by watching it on my phone at the same time.

It would take more than a few pints to have me under the table, I'm Australian.

 

Well, they're not precisely the greatest actressses, GoT was a "tiny" show that grew too much. Both got an apparently big role thanks to the popularity of the show but, in the end, Dark Phoenix & Terminator Genisys turned out to be really bad sequels of worn-out franchises.

I think Emilia can have a nice career in British films, period dramas, rom-coms, stuff like that.
And Sophie... well, she must be thinking in her wedding and on a long honey moon, that could be good for her, to take a break and then return with something more suitable for her... maybe a comedy or a a modeling career


Meanwhile somewhere... in the past

 

I agree on both counts, Sophie should give Comedy a try.

There's talk of making a Boy George Biopic, when asked who would he like to play the late teen/20 something George he said..

The trouble I was referring to was basically match-fixing back in the day; going into final group stage matches when they were at different times there were instances where teams would conspire to advance or prevent another from advancing by various on-field means, it got out(and was pretty obvious just watching it) and so in order to stop that FIFA made the decision to have the games be at the same time.
