I must down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life
To the gull's way and the whale's way where the wind's like a whetted knife:
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover
And a quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over.

Anyone else worried about the lack of rain so far this spring. Im on the northern hemisphere. Last season was tough on everything no rain and hot and here we are again with a early drought. The level of groundwater here in sweden is very low. We need the damn rain as much as i like lazy days in the sun.

Down here they said they'd had a lot less rain, more extreme storms, extreme variations in temps, Wednesday 5c yesterday 24c.

Have some of ours, we're flooding everywhere. To the north, there are counties which are almost entirely flooded due to heavy snow in the winter all melting at once and a few springs and summers now of heavy and long lasting rainstorms. Missouri River is starting to get a bit too high for comfort where I'm at.

If Orange guy gets re-elected, he may not be making Climate change jokes by the end of his 2nd term.
Learn there's a difference between "Climate" and "Weather".

In Australia, overnight temps are reaching 30c, the previous daytime temp, that's not just for one/day/night, its weeks turning into months.

The Planet will survive, its just the next generation and generations to follow will find it harder and harder to live here.

    There's no Planet B

It will never happen, a lot of Trumpgret amongst those who originally voted for him and he barely won the first time.

I don't wish to sound too downbeat, but if we fail to reverse climate change there will be Wars such as nobody has seen before! There will be millions desiring to move from areas that become uninhabitable owing to temperatures that are already barely tolerable becoming inimical to life, or low-lying Regions being inundated by rising sea levels, etc., etc.? Mankind will need to become adept at facilitating mass migrations, where incoming masses wish to share already scarce resources and habitable areas that are themselves becoming ever scarcer? But Countries' Governments are only responsible to their citizens/electorate, not to every Tom, Dick and Harriet from elsewhere that happen to find themselves living in the wrong places?

I don't see things ending well. I suspect that those not killed by climate changes directly will end up fighting over the Poles and killing each other!

Had a brilliant Easter Sunday, sun 25c, sea, (didn't swim too cold) and good company (what a different in a year), had a gin miniature hunt in the garden.

Watched & shouted at Thanos as we all watched Thanos together.

    Meanwhile
Up early this bank holiday Monday.

Sunrise & nearly everyone is still asleep.

Wednesday deluge, nearly back in London, wanted to get back to enjoy the Bank Holiday Sun and not get back late tonight, then straight to work in the morning.
