It was easier to wait to lunch.

That's exactly what we do, one half represents people, other half stages events/plays/exhibitions.

It's a shock to the system being back at work I'm worn out, bring on another long bath.

 

Yay for baths! (closest smilie there is)

 

Stand in boss is more hands on, it's like being back at school.
Remember your first day back at school and you'd be given/sent to you/ loads of course/year material.

Yesterday was like that.

We're (me and my Sister) are going to see Mary Poppins today! (before it vanishes off the big screen)
refused point blank to go during the Christmas holidays, so this will be mainly kid free.

 

I got caught up with Sophie and will sleep well tonight. Good stuff.

 

"Mary Poppins returns" was so good!!! loved it and it definitely deserves to be seen on the big screen.

It's a musical & the sign of a good musical is anyone? you've got earworms afterwards.

Which to me is also slightly "La, La Land".

Today the office is like a igloo, acting boss said to me "Do something about the heating".
I replied "Who i am Scotty?", i got a look, so i went away and hit it, kicked it, and hit it again.

= Warm office.

Back to the igloo, I'm running out of places to kick.

Christmas is paid off.

 

At Paddington Station in London, I'm going to Bristol for the weekend, going to stay with a ex and my Cats (well our Cats or to be exact she lives in their Flat). I'm getting the train there & coach back; moral of this tale, never travel on a train in Britain on a Sunday.

Why? That's when they do the engineerimg works, could be delays or cancellations.

Cats here I come, thinks - I've turned into a crazy Cat lady.

But this morning.

 

Brilliant weekend in Bristol, now on my way back to London.

 

On the outskirts of London (in Coach), watched "The Party's just beginning" (with Karen Gillan), highly recommend it, plus she has long legs (shorter than me but long), her character sort of remains me of me aged 20 aka Ms.Angry.

 

And we got to see her nice ass ..... what? Of course I'm gonna be a fan of that

 

Apart from her arse... I wouldn't really say its a feel good film (in fact it's tough & hard hitting) Karen wrote & directed it; you might need subs if your ears aren't used to the Scots accent.

 

I like the accents, even if I struggle to entirely understand it at times, I still love it. Maybe it's partly from having to listen to a bunch of hicks speaking Midwest/Southern drawl to the point where you think they invented a new language because that can't be English lol, but I just really have always loved British/Scottish/Irish/Aussie accents.

I feel like i've been on a major bender, when i hardly drank anything?

Fuck it was hard to get up for work this morning.

We (work) were involved in a new film that's released on Feb 15th called "The Kid who would be King".

Long story, cut short, around this time last year, i got the visit to the set (it was in a real school in London) i was so exicted as it stars Patrick Stewart!!!!

I got there, no actors, no Patrick Stewart, "just" the tech guys (who were lovely) building fake walls/add on's to the school building.
