Not sure about this. In the info provided by dasbnau, the video duration is supposed to be 3:53 with 1080p res but here it's 3:57 with 720p res.

I guess this is the 720p version, hope we'll get the 1080p one as well.

There is virtually no overlap between this and the official video, so it's definitely previously unreleased content. The explicit nudity is only a very small fraction of the whole thing though.
It looks like someone uploaded it to vk.com in a scaled-down version with a few extra seconds added at the beginning, that would explain the discrepancies. So the video being sold is probably the same content, only 1080p quality.

Well at least my curiosity is satisfied - I figure the 1080p version will surface sooner or later, but if not, I'll live.

 

I guarantee this was the original Director's Cut that Miley promised when the original hit a certain amount of views, and then she was likely convinced to do the stupid all-closeup version of the video instead, by whoever. IIRC this was (shortly) before she had really done any actual nudity, so it would have been a big deal.

Maybe she should just go ahead and actually release it now officially!

 

I'm upset, I thought we'd have a video with more nudity from her. It does not make sense for a person to sell a video and offer free sample just the best part, which was the 22-second nudity video previously send...

I hope at least see the video with 1920x1080 quality...

I don't believe the leaker's twitter was the source for the 22 second version. That account posted a much shorter preview with a ton of watermarks all over it. I think the 22 second version we got was an edit from someone who paid for it.
