  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    As you would expect, we Mods/Admins are well aware of the problems, Guys, but cayne appears to have been away for a couple of days and is incommunicado.
    We've flagged the issues up to him, but the only communications medium by which we can talk to him is the forum conversation mechanism, which is of course dependent on him coming on-line!

    Just wanted to chime in and say I was hit by that red screen, too. Fortunately nothing was changed on my system, and I use several layers of protection. Unfortunately AdBlock didn't stop it, so now I'm using UBlock Origin.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention when that screen showed up, it tried to download 10 files with random numbers and letters for names.

    The problem does indeed appear to have been resolved, and there are hardware and software changes taking place in the background that are aimed to reduce our vulnerability to such issues in future.

    It does connect after 15-30 seconds, but its happening more and more.

    Ok, doc. Here are some of the problems

    First, rules should be permastickied in the first post in each section.
    When you click on the rules, you get this:

    which is well worded, but needs updated in several spots. In my case, because I post celeb videos, I'd like to see
    the text regarding mandatory hosts outlined more and with bigger font. Other rules should also be updated with the new forum style.

    Second, phun has bad search logic and return right now with the new style. I just searched "rata we are your friends" with filters 'title only and movies' and got not results.
    However, I searched " ratajkowski we are your friends" with the same filters and found a thread. Other logic is screwed as well.

    Third, intermittently and under load, phun doesn't respond to handshake requests and times out often.

    Okay, today has been the most frustrating and I've been thru more than a couple of these tech glitches. It's taken me over an hour and a half to go thru the lounge posts alone. Multiple clicks on the reload, usually 3, and that doesn't include the auto reload of Chrome. One like didn't take one click it took seven. My alerts won't show up in the drop down. It takes atleast three clicks to post a simple reply. Dang!!!!

    Try: rata* we are your friends
    The quotes makes it look for the whole phrase, while the star serves as a wild card and will accept anything after rata.
    The logic works if you use the tools :)

    When I like something, am I supposed to get redirected to another page to click "are you sure you want to like this post?" and have to click yes each time? I click yes, and it takes me back to the post, but each post this happens when I click like.

    I didn't see this asked anywhere else.

    I see the same thing if I don't allow my browser extension "NoScript" to enable javascript for this site. Perhaps some extension/plugin you have is blocking javascript from running on the phun board?

    Something else i've noticed ever since that huge upgrade you did on the site.
    On Chrome the site wont load unless the tab is active!Meaning if i open a new tab that tab wont load unless i click on it.
